APMP works closely with the Asia Pacific Accreditation Corporation (APAC) to facilitate the development and implementation of standards and conformances infrastructure to manage and expand mutual recognition arrangement (MRA) among accreditation bodies and promote economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
At present, APMP has One Executive Committee (EC), Twelve Technical Committees (TCs), Six Focus Groups (FGs), One APMP-APAC Joint Proficiency Testing Working Group (APMP-APAC PTEG), and one Developing Economies’ Committee (DEC); which is responsible for initiating and coordinating work programs to address the needs of APMP member Developing Economy NMIs (DENs). The CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, India (NPLI) is the National Metrology Institute of India and a Premier Research Laboratory in Physical Sciences. Mandate of the CSIR-NPLI
CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (NPL-India) is mandated to be India’s “National Metrology Institute” (NMI) by the act of Parliament and is the custodian of “National Standards” with a responsibility of the dissemination of measurements to the needs of the Country.
